Nothing has launched its latest smartphone Nothing Phone (2) in India. The phone comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, up to 12GB RAM, up to 512GB storage, 50+50 Rear camera, 32 MP selfie camera, 5Gm, and 4700mAh battery. The phone starts at Rs. 44,999.
Nothing Phone (2) features a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED 10-bit LTPO AMOLED display. The display has up to 120Hz variable refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel has up to 1600 nits peak brightness and supports HDR10+. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
It runs Nothing OS 2.0 based on Android 13 out of the box. The UI lets users customize grid design, widget size, and color themes. Nothing also promises 3 Android OS updates and 4 years of security patches.
The phone has similar glyph LEDs on the back as its predecessor, but Nothing Phone (2) has 33 addressable LED lighting zones. The company has also included a glyph composer for custom ringtone creation.
The phone packs Octa Core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4nm processor and Adreno 730 GPU. It uses LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It is offered in three models: 8+128GB, 12+256GB, and 12+512 GB.
The rear camera setup includes 50 megapixels primary camera with f/1.88 aperture, Sony IMX890 sensor, and OIS. It also has 50 megapixels secondary 114° ultra-wide camera with 4cm macro option. The phone can record 4K at up to 60 fps, Live HDR at 4K30 fps, and Slo-mo (480 fps). For selfies, the phone has 32 megapixels front camera.
There is an in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax (2.4GHz/5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC. It packs a 4700mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging, 15W Qi wireless charging with dual charging support, 5W reverse charging.
The phone has thinner midframe made of 100% recycled aluminum and gently curved pillowed glass back. It is also IP54 Splash resistant. Nothing Phone (2) measures 162.1x 76.4x 8.6mm and 201.2g. The phone comes in White and Dark Grey colors.
