HTC has introduced its latest smartphone HTC U23. This smartphone comes with the company’s VIVERSE platform built-in. It features a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 (4nm) SoC, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, 64+8+2 MP rear camera, 32 MP selfie camera, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 5G, and 4600mAh battery.
HTC U23 features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. The display panel also has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection to protect it from scratches and accidental falls. The phone runs Android 13 out of the box.
The phone comes with VIVERSE app. VIVERSE is a virtual reality platform that lets you build your personal brand in metaverse. You can use the app for an immersive social experience. VIVERSE is compatible with VIVE mixed-reality headset for exploring the metaverse. It also lets you project your phone’s screen in the headset.
It packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 (4nm) SoC with Adreno 644 GPU. The phone also has 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Storage is further expandable with a microSD card.
The rear camera setup includes 64 megapixels primary camera with f/1.89 aperture, 8 megapixels ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.4 aperture, and 2 megapixels depth camera with f/2.4 aperture. The phone can record up to 4K videos. The camera app also has EIS for recording stable videos. It also offers several camera modes including AI scene detection, Auto HDR, Professional Photography Mode. Time Lapse. Beauty adjustment, portrait mode, night view mode, panorama mode, and slow motion photography. For selfies, there is a 32 megapixels front-facing camera located in the punch hole at the top center of the display.
It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone also offers 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC connectivity.
HTC U23 packs a 4600mAh battery with support for 30W wired fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.
HTC U23 comes in Aqua Blue and Roland Violet colors. It measures 166.6 x 77.09 x 8.88mm and weighs 202g. The phone is also IP67 dust and water-resistant.
