Asus has officially launched its first handheld gaming console ROG Ally in India. The device runs Windows 11 and has powerful specs to play games. It is priced at Rs. 69,990.
ROG Ally features a 7-inch FHD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 7ms response time, and up to 500 nits brightness. It also supports FreeSync Premium and Dolby Vision. The display panel also has Gorilla Glass Victus and Gorilla Glass DXC.
The handheld gaming console packs AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme 4nm Processor that has 8-cores and 16-threads. It also has AMD Radeon Graphics with 12 CUs and up to 8.6 Teraflops. It also offers four performance modes: Silent, Performance, Turbo, and Turbo+. Ally can handle most games including AAA games. You will enjoy a faster and smoother experience. The device packs 16GB LPDDR5 6400Mhz RAM and 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD. It also has a UHS-II microSD card reader that supports SD, SDXC, and SDHC cards.
The console has A B X Y buttons, D-pad, L & R Hall Effect analog triggers, L & R bumpers
View button, Menu button, Command Center button, Armoury Crate button, 2 x assignable grip buttons, and Thumbsticks: 2 x full-size analog sticks with capacitive touch. It also has a 3.5mm Combo Audio Jack, ROG XG Mobile Interface, and USB Type-C combo port.
The device has AI noise-canceling technology, Hi-Res certification, Dolby Atmos, a built-in array microphone, and a 2-speaker system with Smart Amplifier Technology. It also supports Wi-Fi 6E(802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.
Asus ROG Ally measures 280 x 111 x 21.2mm and weighs 608g.
ASUS ROG Ally is priced at Rs. 69,990 and is now available from ASUS Exclusive Stores, ASUS Eshop, and Flipkart. The company is only selling the Z1 Extreme version in the country.
