After releasing several teasers, finally, Nothing has confirmed the launch date of Nothing Phone (2). The phone will be launched on July 11. The company has shared the launch date on Twitter. The event will be streamed via Nothing.tech at 11 a.m. EST/8 a.m. PST.
The teaser video shows similar LED light, the so-called “Glyph” interface, that we saw in Nothing Phone (1). This year, we can expect more colors in the LED lighting. We also saw an Octopus in the video. Not sure what it hints at.
Nothing Phone (2) will be manufactured in India for Indian customers. The company claims that Nothing Phone (2) will be one of the most sustainable smartphones. Nothing Phone (2) will also mark Nothing’s formal entry into the US market.
We have seen a few leaked renders that show a design similar to the previous model. We already know that Nothing Phone (2) will pack a slightly older Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor to keep the price low. We can also expect improvement in software and camera experience.
This upcoming smartphone will be sold on Flipkart.
