ASUS to launch ROG Ally in India soon

Last month, Asus introduced its first gaming handheld device Asus ROG Ally. Now the company has confirmed that it will launch ROG Ally in India soon. The company tweeted to confirm this news.

Asus ROG Ally features a 7-inch 1080p display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display has 500 nits brightness and 7ms response time. The display has Dolby Vision and FreeSync Premium. There is also Gorilla Glass Victus protection to protect the display from scratches.

It packs AMD Ryzen Z1 / Z1 Extreme APU, 16GB LDPPR5 6400MHz RAM, and up to 512GB of NVMe M.2 2230 PCIe Gen 4 storage. ROG Ally features a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type C port combo, and a UHS-II microSD card reader. The device also packs a 40WHr battery with 65W charging support. There is also a dual speaker setup with Asus’ Smart Amplifier Technology for improved audio.

The device runs Windows 11 out of the box and is fully compatible with Xbox Game Pass, Steam, Epic Games, and EA App. It also includes a three-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

The company has yet to confirm the exact launch date. ROG Ally with Ryzen Z1 extreme has already been launched in several countries for USD 699. The Ryzen Z1 variant will be launched in Q3 2023. We can expect both variants in India and pricing will be confirmed on the launch day.
