Twitch’s new clip editor makes it easy to make vertical videos

Twitter has introduced new tools to let streamers create and share short and video clips quickly. The new clip editors can be found in the clips manager in the creator dashboard. It also has integration of YouTube that lets you share clips directly to YouTube shorts.

First of all, go to Creator Dashboard, click Content, and then Clips. Here, select the clip and click the Edit & Share Clip button to launch the Clip Editor modal.

It will ask you to select full-screen layout or split your clip to show multiple face cams. Drag and adjust the capture range using and then see a preview of your clip. There is also a toggle to add or remove their channel name to the clip. Once you are ready, Click next to continue. You can choose to download it or share it on YouTube Shorts with a title and a description.

For now, it only has the integration of YouTube, but the company also plans to add quick sharing for other platforms in the near future. Currently, users need to download the video and then manually upload it to Instagram Reels, Snapchat, and TikTok.
