Lava has launched its latest smartphone Lava Blaze 2 in India. Lava Blaze 2 is the successor to Lava Blaze which was launched last year. Lava Blaze 2 features a 6.5-inch HD+ 90Hz display, Unisoc T616 Octa-Core SoC, and 6GB RAM. 13+2 MP dual rear camera, 8 MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh battery. The phone is priced at Rs. 8999.
Lava Blaze 2 features a 6.5-inch HD+ display. The display panel has a 90Hz refresh rate and a hole punch for the selfie camera. It runs Android 12 out of the box.
The phone packs 2GHz UNISOC T616 Octa-Core 12nm processor with Mali-G57 GPU. It has 6GB RAM and supports up to 5GB virtual RAM. The phone also has 128GB internal storage that can be expandable up to 1TB>
The rear camera setup includes 13 megapixels primary camera and 2 megapixels macro camera. It also has 8 megapixels front camera for selfies.
There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 18W charging.

The phone is priced at Rs. 8999, but the company calls it the special launch price. Not sure if the company has plans to increase the price of the phone in near future. Lava Blaze 2 will be available from Amazon.in and Lava Online stores from April 18.
