Ushur raises $50 million Series C funding round

AI-powered Customer Experience Automation start-up Ushur has raised a $50 million Series C funding round led by Third Point Ventures. Existing investors including Iron Pillar, 8VC, Aflac Ventures, and Pentland Ventures also participated in this funding round.

The company will use this funding to expand its automation portfolio, develop new AI tech, and expand to new regions and industry verticals.

“The previous generation of enterprise automation was designed for infrastructure processes,” explains Simha Sadasiva, CEO and Co-founder, Ushur, “We built Ushur’s AI platform with a different goal in mind: to provide excellent customer experiences at scale and to deliver meaningful interactions that put the customer’s needs at the centre.”

Ushur was founded by Simha Sadasiva and Henry Peter in 2014. Ushur helps businesses automate and digitize their enterprise customer experience with a no-code, cloud-native SaaS platform. The company has a strong client base with brands like United Healthcare, Aetna, and CVS health. Sadasiva claims that 50% of Ushur’s clients are Fortune 500 companies.

In the past 12 months, Ushur managed to triple its headcount and double its customer base.
