Nothing Phone (1) is getting stable Android 13

Nothing has finally started rolling out Nothing OS 1.5.2 for Nothing Phone (1). Nothing OS 1.5.2 is based on Android 13 and it also includes January 2023 security patch. The new update has been developed in-house at Nothing and it should deliver big performance improvements for the phone.

Nothing OS 1.5.2 is getting a new Nothing weather app that also offers a weather widget. The company has also added more color schemes and a new Glyph sound pack for more ringtone and notification sounds. Now Nothing Phone users can also scan QR codes directly from the camera app.

The company has also added some privacy and safety features. It will now alert you when an app accesses your clipboard. Nothing has also added a Personal Safety app.

Nothing claims that fingerprint unlock accuracy has improved by up to 12%, app startup speed has increased by up to 71%, and standby power consumption has improved by up to 50%. This update also increases system stability and fixes some known bugs.

If you have Nothing Phone 1, you should soon receive the OTA update.
