Vodafone India (Vi) has finally started rolling out the 5G series in India. The company’s customer support team tweeted to confirm the availability of VI’s 5G network in Delhi. The crowdsourced 5G map still doesn’t show Vi’s 5G in Delhi. So, it becomes very confusing if Vi has launched 5G services in any part of Delhi. Although we have the screenshots of the Tweet, it seems the Tweet was later deleted.

The company is facing funding issues. So, it cannot comment when the 5G will be available in other cities of the country. Jio 5G is already available in 78 cities and Airtel is offering 5G in 22 Indian cities. Vodafone has yet to start offering 5G services. This latest tweet confirms that the company has begun testing or planning to start testing 5G in Delhi.

If you are a Vi customer, live in Delhi, and own a 5G phone, you can check if 5G network is available for you. You also need to select 5G/4G/3G network in network settings to get 5G signals.

Airtel and Jio have been offering 5G networks for a few months now, but people are not really happy but the performance. People are facing call drop issues after switching to 5G. 5G offers faster data speed, so the network drains out most of the data within minutes. Although these companies have not introduced 5G tariffs, soon users will have to pay more for using the 5G network.
