Gaming and entertainment company JetSynthesys has acquired a majority stake in Fanory, content monetization platform for creators. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
As a part of the deal, Fanory’s co-founder Manish Maheshwari will join JetSynthesys as president at the corporate level. He will work to expand Fanory globally.
“Last year has seen high growth for us at JetSynthesys, and we are happy to begin 2023 with this transaction,” said Rajan Navani, Founder and CEO, JetSynthesys. “Fanory’s model is beneficial for creators. It compensates them for their hard work and creativity. With Manish by our side, we look forward to exploring this new avenue and entrenching ourselves deeper into the digital entertainment realm.”
Fanory was co-founded by former Twitter India head Manish Maheshwari in May 2022. The platform helps creators connect with their superfans. Fans can engage with creators via messages, video calls, and live sessions.
Fanory is still in early stages, so it will be interesting to see how the platform grows under Jetsynthesys. It will also open new chapter for Maheshwari.
Fanory directly composts with other platforms such as Celewish, Tring, and GoNuts.
