Leap.club raises $1 million funding

Professional networking startup for women, Leap.club has raised $1 million led by existing investor Enzia Ventures. The funding round also saw participation from Artha India Ventures, Ghazal Alagh, Alok Mittal, Atul Goel, and Vatsal Singhal.

“The funding will be used to accelerate growth and go from 10,000 to 100,000 paying members. We are a revenue-first company and on track to hit Rs 100 crore of revenue in the next 36 months. As a team, we aim to see more women in leadership roles and are building a platform to enable this for our members with a focus on network, learning and jobs,” said cofounders Ragini Das and Anand Sinha.

Leap.club was launched in May 2022 by Zomato execs Ragini Das and Anand Sinha. The company aims to be a professional network for women. The key focus areas of Leap.club are community, connections, and learning. The company claims to have over 90 percent women on the team and the majority of its investors are also women.

The company claims that it now has 10,000+ paying members across 2000+ companies, 200+ cities, and 15+ countries. There are 197 micro-communities with Leap.club network. It also projects Rs. 10 Cr revenues for FY 2022-23.

The company also raised $810,000 last year and $380,000 in July 2020.
