Rode, a popular company known for microphones, today announced the launch of a new sub-brand ‘Rode X’ that will focus on gaming and streaming. This sub-brand will have its own specialized research and development department to launch products for gaming and streaming.

This new sub-brand has launched two microphones, the XDM-100 and XCM-50. XDM-100 is a dynamic USB microphone that promises to deliver rich, broadcast-quality audio. XCM-50 is a condenser USB microphone optimized for streamers. Both the Mics come with built-in headphone ports and feature powerful internal digital signal processing.

The company has also launched UNIFY software which is an easy-to-use solution offering features of multiple apps on a single platform. The software lets users mix and router up to four different USB mics, various other audio devices, and virtual audio sources in one place.
