Motorola just launched its latest smartphone Moto G72 in its G series of smartphones in India. The phone comes with a 6.55-inch 120Hz display, Helio G99 processor, 6GB RAM, 108+8+2 MP rear camera, 16MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh battery. The phone costs Rs. 18999.
Moto G72 features a 6.55-inch Full HD+ pOLED 10-bit display with up to 1300 nits brightness. The phone has a 120Hz refresh rate and a 576 Hz touch sampling rate. It also supports HDR10+ content. There is also Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection to protect the display from scratches.
It packs an Octa Core MediaTek Helio G99 6nm processor and Arm Mali-G57 MC2. The phone also has 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It also has a microSD card slot to expand the storage.
The rear camera setup includes 108 megapixels primary camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. It also has 16 megapixels selfie camera.
Moto G72 features an under-display fingerprint sensor. It has stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos.
Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, NFC, and USB Type-C. Surprisingly the phone lacks 5G connectivity at a time when India just saw the launch of 5G services in select cities. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 33W turbo charging.
Moto G72 measures 160.5 x 74.4 x 7.9 mm and weighs 170g. It also has an IP52 rating to offer Splash resistance. The phone comes in Meteorite Black and Polar Blue colors.
Moto G72 is priced at Rs. 18999 and will be available from Flipkart starting from October 12th.
