Garmin India today announced the launch of its new fitness tracker Garmin Vivosmart 5 in India. The fitness tracker comes with heart rate monitoring, stress tracking, body battery energy monitoring, activity tracking, and more. It is priced at Rs. 14999.

Garmin Vivosmart 5 features a 0.73-inch OLED display with 88×154 pixels resolution. There are two size variants of the fitness tracker. The smaller one fits the wrist with a circumference of 122-188mm and the larger variant fits the wrist with a circumference of 148-228mm.

Garmin India claims that you can keep wearing the fitness tracker while going for a swim but didn’t mention the IP rating details.

The fitness band features 24/7 heart rate monitoring Pulse OX, Body Battery energy monitoring, stress tracking, and more without needing any subscription. It can also track basic things like steps, calories burned, and intensity minutes. There are several sports modes including walking, pool swimming, cycling, yoga, cardio, and more.

The fitness tracker also delivers smartphone notifications to your wrists. Other notable features include calendar reminders and safety features.

Garmin claims that the battery life of the fitness tracker lasts up to 7 days.

Garmin vĂ­vosmart 5 comes in Mint and Black colors. It is priced at Rs. 14990 and will be available from Garmin Brand Store, Amazon, Flipkart, and synergizer.
