At Meta Quest Gaming Showcase 2022, Meta announced a new VR game set in Ghostbusters Universe. The game is called Ghostbusters VR and will serve as a new chapter in the Ghostbusters universe. The game lets players fend off ghosts with iconic equipments including proton pack and particle thrower.

The game will be published by Sony Pictures Virtual Reality and is being developed by nDreams. The nDreams is known for Far Cry VR: Dive Into Insanity.

Ghostbusters VR story is set in San Francisco. Your aim is to hunt down and trap ghosts with the help of proton pack and particle thrower. you can either play solo or make a team of up to 4 people.

The company also released a trailer that features cinematics rendered in-engine. The video features a red ghost with eyes in his hands.

We still have no information about the release date. Meta promised to share more information about the game in the coming months. The game can be delayed if the development faces any issues.
