Coinbase, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, will soon launch its NFT marketplace. The company has tweeted to confirm it, but we still don’t know the exact launch date.
Coinbase NFT marketplace will let users discover, mint, and purchase NFTs using linked coinbase wallet. The company has already met with more than 100 creators to support its upcoming NFT marketplace.
The company first announced its plans of NFT marketplace back in October 2021 and began a waiting list. More than 2.5 million people have reportedly joined this waitlist in just 5 months.
Coinbase NFT will directly compete against top NFT marketplaces such as OpenSea, Rarible, NBA Top Shot Marketplace,and others. Coinbase is already a trusted name in cryptocurrency market and it complys all the legal regulations imposed by the American government. THis reputation will surely help the company is competiting well in NFT segment.
