At CES 2022, Asus unveiled its new ZenBook 17 Fold that comes with a foldable OLED display. It is a tablet with a desktop-grade processor and can be used in six different modes.

Asus ZenBook 17 Fold features a 17.3 inches OLED display offering a 2,560 x 1,920 pixels resolution in its unfoldable state. When it is folded, you get a 12.5-inch display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,280 pixels. There are noticeable bezels with a pill-shaped cutout. It also has a 5MP QHD webcam and an IR camera.

Asus claims that the device has been tested for up to 30,000 times fold/unfold. The software can detect the orientation and switches between portrait, landscape, and folded mode. You can place the keyboard on the desk and stand the tablet up to use it as a laptop.

It packs a 12th-generation Alder Lake Intel Core i7-1250U processor, integrated graphics, and 16GB RAM. It also features a Dolby Atmos quad-speaker system, 1 TB of NVMe M.2 SSD storage, WiFi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.2. The laptop has a sole Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port and a 3.5mm combo audio jack.

Asus has not confirmed the pricing details. We also do not know when the device could come into the market.
