After a long time, Ola has now decided to fix one of the biggest problems Ola customers face. Most Ola customers including me suffer ride cancellations after telling the drop location to the Ola driver. Many times, Ola drivers ask if I would make a cash payment. If I say payment will be done using Ola money, the ride will be canceled.
So, the Ola app for drivers will now show the drop location and payment mode to drivers before accepting the ride. If the driver isn’t comfortable going to that location or he wants cash payment, he shouldn’t accept the ride.
Ola claims that this new change will surely reduce ride cancellation by drivers. Let’s see if this happens.
Ola has a separate app for drivers. Drivers use the app to accept rides, check their ride history, and their earnings. So, Ola customers won’t see any change in their app.
