Beats today announced a limited edition Beats Studio Buds in collaboration with American clothing store Union Los Angeles. Union X Beats Studio Buds feature a unique red, black, and green colorway design inspired by the Pan-African flag. The company has launched this limited edition of buds to mark the 30th anniversary of Union LA and the company’s roots as a Black-owned business.

The visual design of buds is similar to the original Beats Studio buds launched back in June. The company just painted it differently. There is no change in the specs and features.

Beats Studio Buds don’t feature Apple’s H1 or W1 chip. So, these buds don’t quickly pair with Apple devices. Buds also don’t offer in-ear detection. Beats Studio Buds are the first Beats Studio Buds from the company. Buds offer active Noise Cancelling and Transparency Mode. There is a 6 microphone set up to isolate the exterior sound.

Beats will sell these buds only in the US and Japan via the official website, Union’s Los Angeles and Tokyo stores. Buds will be available starting December 1, 2021.
