Techcrunch reported that the live subtitles feature is currently available in 13 different languages including English, Cantonese, Mandarin Chinese, Yue Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, and Turkish. A Clubhouse engineer confirmed that the app may not be as good as in understanding non-English languages as it is in English.

Clubhouse quickly became popular but soon it lost appeal among users. Twitter released Space to compete against Clubhouse and managed to grab some users. Clubhouse tried its best in improving the platform but it couldn’t retain its initial growth.

Recently, Clubhouse released a number of features including Wave to keep the platform interesting. This new live captioning feature will surely help several users. The company didn’t confirm when this feature will be available to Android but it won’t take long.
