Budweiser has launched a series of NFTs to celebrate the birth of its first-ever beer

American beer brand Budweiser is launching a series of NFTs to celebrate the birth of its first-ever beer. The series includes 1,936 non-fungible tokens. The company plans to launch the NFT collection to honor its journey so far.

Each NFT is shaped as a Budweiser beer can and is generated using archived photos, advertisements. Out of generated using archived photos, advertisements, 36 have been listed as “Gold NFTs”. These Gold NFTs cost $999 and come with special rewards for the buyers. Other NFTs that fall under the “Core NFTs” category are priced at $499.

For purchasing these NFTs, you can either use Bitcoin or Ethereum tokens. Since the sale of thee NFTs is limited to the US, the company is also accepting US dollars.

Budweiser has been exploring NFT and Cryptocurrency space for quite some time. The company bought an NFT of a rocket embroidered with the Budweiser logo from OpenSea NFT marketplace for 8 Ether tokens. It also purchased the domain name “beer.eth” for 30 Ether tokens.
