Microsoft today introduced the company’s latest dual-screen Android smartphone Microsoft Surface Duo 2. The phone has a 90Hz disclaim Snapdragon 888 and triple camera.
Surface Duo 2 features a 5.8-inch AMOLED PixelSense Display that unfolds to reveal an 8.3-inch AMOLED 13:9 display with 90Hz refresh rate. The display also has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
It packs Octa-Core Snapdragon 888 mobile platform with Adreno 660 GPU. The phone also has 8GB of RAM. It is offered in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options.
There is a triple camera setup with 12 megapixels primary camera, 16 megapixels ultra-wide camera, 12 megapixels telephoto camera. The phone also has OIS, supports 2X optical zoom, and offers 4K video recording at up to 60 fps. For selfies, there is also a 12 megapixels camera.
It has stereo speakers, USB Type-C Audio, Dual Mic AI-based noise suppression, and acoustic echo cancellation. The phone has a side-mounted Fingerprint sensor. Connectivity option include 5G SA/NSA, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 6 ax (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS / GLONASS, DisplayPort over USB-C, and NFC. It packs a 4449mAh dual battery with 23W fast charging.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is priced at $1499.99 for the base variant with 128GB storage. The 256GB model costs $1599.99 and the 512GB version costs $1799.99. Pre-orders start today and shipping starts from October 21.
