Twitter is now rolling out captions for voice tweets. Now when you make voice tweets, the service will generate captions automatically in supported languages. For now, captions are supported in English, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, French, Indonesian, Korean, and Italian languages.

You will see the CC icon in the top-right corner of the voice tweet. Tapping on it will show captions on the tweet. Twitter also confirmed that captions will only appear on new voice tweets made after the introduction of this feature.

Twitter introduced the voice tweets feature in June 2020 but the feature didn’t include captions. Several people asked for captions in voice Tweets. Finally, the company has listened to requests.

Recently, Twitter also announced to shut down the Fleets feature next month. Fleet is Twitter’s version of Stories but people weren’t using it.
