Instagram can now translate text in Stories

Instagram is adding a new option in Stories that can automatically translate text in story posts. When Instagram detects a foreign language, it will display the “See Translation” option on the top left of the screen. Tapping on It will show translation at the bottom.

The translation feature on Stories is now available globally and supports over 90 languages including Arabic, Hindi, Japanese and Portuguese. Translations will only be available for text but not for audio

It is worth noting that Instagram has been offering translation features for standard posts since 2016. So, users now have translation options across most Instagram post types.
