Facebook introduces Soundmojis on Messenger

Emoji is now an important part of our text conversation. Facebook says that people send more than 2.4 billion messages with emojis on Messenger. To improve the emoji experience, the company has made these emojis talk. Facebook has introduced Emojis with sound. The company calls it Soundmojis, Soundmoojis look like regular emojis with short sound clips.

To send Soundmojis, enter into a chat in the Messenger app and then tap the smiley face. Here select the loudspeaker icon to select from available Soundmoji. clapping 👏, crickets 🦗, drumroll 🥁 , and evil laughter 👻.

To see the preview of Soundmoji, tap the play icon. Tap send button.

Facebook has added a few Soundmojis and promised to update the library regularly with new sound effects and famous sound bites.

Facebook is now rolling out Soundmojis ahead of World Emoji Day on 17 July 2021. Soundmojis will be available to both Android and iOS. Update the messenger app to get Soundmojis.
