Twitter is introducing a new update that displays larger images on both Android and iOS app for a better viewing experience. Till now, Twitter for Android, iOS, and web auto-cropped the images, and AI displayed the subject of images based on face-points and machine learning. It only showed cropped images that didn’t support a 16:9 aspect ratio. But now, Twitter will display full images in tweets so that users can see what’s in the post without opening it.

Twitter announced this in a tweet earlier today mentioning “Introducing bigger and better images on iOS and Android, now available to everyone.” This isn’t a big change but helps in using Twitter conveniently. Previously, this feature was announced only for iOS but has now available for all Android and iOS users globally.

This feature was in the testing phase since March along with another feature that allows any user to upload 4K images and videos on this micro-blogging site. Twitter always aim to make the usage convenient.
