Google has released a new app called ‘Stack’ developed by Google’s Area 120 team. This is a document scanner app that uses AI for best results.

Google’s new app Stack uses artificial intelligence created by its DocAI team. You can just take a photo of a document and it will scan it to make a PDF copy. Not just scanning, the app also automatically names documents for you, and suggests the right category. The app also identifies important information like dates and amount totals.

You can also upload your scanned document to Google Drive. So, you can always get access to your documents even if you stop using the Stack app. The app also supports biometric authentication to keep your documents safe.

The app is now available for Android in the US. The app is still experimental, so there is no word on when the app will be amiable to iOS or in other countries.
