Xiaomi has just announced its new Redmi K40 Series in China. It includes Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro, and Redmi K40 Pro+ smartphones. These phones are almost similar in terms of design but differ in internals.
Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro, and Redmi K40 Pro+ come with the same 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and HDR10+. The Display also features Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection to protect it from scratches.
Redmi K40 packs Octa-Core Snapdragon 870 7nm SoC and Adreno 650 GPU. K40 Pro & K40 Pro+ are powered by Snapdragon 888 Soc with Adreno 660 GPU. Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 888 are new mobile platforms announced a few months back. Check the links below to understand the power of these SoCs

Redmi K40 comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1. On the other hand, K40 Pro and K40 Pro+ come with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. All three devices run on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 out-of-the-box.
Redmi K40 comes with a triple camera that includes 48 megapixels primary camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide-angle camera, and 5 megapixels telemacro camera. Redmi K40 Pro triple camera setup includes 64 megapixels primary camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide-angle camera, and 5 megapixels telemacro camera. Redmi K40 Pro+ camera setup has 108 megapixels primary camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide-angle camera, and 5 megapixels telemacro camera. If you look closely, the main difference is in the primary camera sensor. All three phones have the same 20 megapixels selfie camera.
Even if there is an AMOLED display, the fingerprint sensor is on the side. These phones also have Infrared sensor. For Audio, these phones have Dual speakers and support USB Type-C audio for headphone.
