Motorola edge s with Snapdragon 870 launching on January 26

Recently Qualcomm introduced Snapdragon 870, a successor to Snapdragon 865 Plus. Now Motorola has confirmed that it will launch Motorola edge s powered by Snapdragon 870 in China soon.

The company has released a poster confirming the launch on January 26. 2021. The launch event is set to start at 7:30 PM China time (5PM IST).

As per rumors, the phone will feature a 6.7-inch (2520×1080 resolution) Full HD+ 90Hz Display, Snapdragon 870, 8GB of RAM, 256GB storage, 64+16+2 MP rear camera, 16+8 MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh battery.

Other manufacturers including iQOO, OnePlus, OPPO, and Xiaomi have also confirmed to launch phones with Snapdragon 870. The Redmi K40 series is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 870. So, there will be several new phones powered by Snapdragon 870.
