Qualcomm has just announced its latest Snapdragon 870 5G Mobile Platform, as an update to Snapdragon 865+ Mobile Platform introduced back in July last year. Snapdragon 870 is the 7 nm promises to bring a better performance over the predecessor.

The prime core of Snapdragon 870 now runs at 3.2 GHz. Other cores setup is exactly same what was in Snapdragon 865+. 3x Cortex A77 cores are clocked at 2.42GHz and 4x A55 Cortex A55 runs on 1.80GHz. This mobile platform is paired with the same Adreno 650 graphics processor.

The chipset still comes with an external Snapdragon X55 with sub-6 and mmWave support. It supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 with aptX Voice and Adaptive.
