Microsoft just launched a cheaper Windows 10 laptop ‘Surface Laptop Go‘ alongside a faster Surface Pro X tablet.
Surface Laptop Go comes with a 12.4-inch touchscreen display. It packs Intel’s 10-generation Core i5 processor with either 4 or 8GB of RAM. You also have several storage options.
The laptop has a full-size keyboard and large and precision trackpad. It comes with a 720p HD webcam and studio-quality mics for improved video calling.
There’s a fingerprint sensor built into the power button in some models but it lacks Windows Hello face recognition. It has one USB-C port, one traditional USB-A port, a headphones socket, and a Surface Connect socket for power and connectivity. It also supports wifi 6 standard and Bluetooth 5.
Microsoft claims that the Surface Laptop Go will offer up to 13 hours of battery life. The laptop also supports fit charging.
It starts at $549.99 in the US. You can pre-order it starting today and shipping starts on October 13th.
