Microsoft launches new Surface Pro X

Microsoft has released its new 2-in-1 laptop Surface Pro X. It is just 7.3mm which and weighs 774grams. This is the successor to the first-gen Surface Pro X launched last year.

Microsoft Surface Pro X features a 13-inch display with 2800 x 1920 pixels resolution.

It packs a new Microsoft SQ2 processor with Adreno 690 GPU and 8GB and 16GB RAM options. Microsoft claims that SQ2 is a successor to SQ1 and offers improved performance. Microsoft is still not fully replacing the SQ1 chip because the base model still packs the SQ1 chip. Microsoft has also confirmed that software partners are now optimizing their Windows apps for the Arm architecture to boost performance and battery life.

It comes in 128 / 256 / 512 GB SSD storage options.

There is a 10 megapixels rear camera that can record up to 4K videos and a 5 megapixels selfie camera that supports Windows Hello face authentication. It packs dual and 2W stereo speakers with Dolby Audio sound.

Surface Pro X has built-in LTE connectivity, WiFI 5, Bluetooth 5, and two USB-C ports. It promises up to 15 hours of battery life.

Microsoft has also introduced a new platinum finish color. It weighs just 774 grams.

The Surface Pro X starts at $999.99, but the new SQ2 powered Surface Pro X starts at $1499.99.

Microsoft has also announced new keyboard colors for the Surface Pro X, with Platinum, Ice Blue, and Poppy Red. There is also a new compact keyboard with three-device support and two years of battery life. The company has also launched a wide range of colors for mouse. There’s also a Bluetooth Ergonomic Mouse for those who prefer something with a bit more shape.
