A few hours back Microsoft announced the acquisition of ZeniMax Media. Now the company has confirmed that Xbox Game Pass now has over 15 million subscribers.

Xbox Game Pass is a video game subscription service for Xbox One console and Windows 10. It was initially launched back in June 2017. Earlier this year in April, the service reached the 10 million subscribers milestone in almost 3 years of launch. Now the company managed to grow 50% in less than the next 5 months.

Xbox Game Pass subscription lets gamers download and play over 100 Xbox One and Xbox 360 games. It costs $9.99 a month. There’s also Xbox Game Pass for PC priced at $9.99 a month. Along with the game, this subscription offers additional free offers, exclusive in-game content, and exclusive offers from Microsoft’s third-party partners.

The company recently announced that EA Play is also coming to the Xbox Game pass at no additional cost. It is also attracting new gamers to subscribe to Xbox Game Pass. Microsoft’s upcoming gaming consoles Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will be available by November this year. The cheaper gaming console will help Microsoft to reach more consumers.
