Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 with Infinity-O AMOLED display, Snapdragon 865+ launched

Samsung announced Galaxy Z Fold 2 at the launch of Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra. Now the company has officially launched the foldable smartphone. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is priced at USD 1,999 and is already up for pre-order.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is the third foldable Samsung smartphone after Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Z Flip. The new phone comes with an Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) protection, triple rear camera and wireless charging support.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 comes with a 7.6-inch full-HD+ (1,768×2,208 pixels) foldable Infinity-O Display with a 120Hz refresh rate along with a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Flex Display. The phone packs octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC, 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The phone has a triple rear camera that includes 12 megapixels primary camera with OIS, 12 megapixels ultra-wide-angle camera, and 12 megapixels telephoto camera. The phone can record 4K videos and 960fps slo-mo videos. It also has a 10-megapixel selfie camera on both the cover screen and the main display.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, UWB (Ultra Wide Band), and a USB Type-C port. It has stereo speakers by AKG along with Dolby Atmos support. The phone has a dedicated “sweeper” to help clean dust and debris out using elastic fibres. Galaxy Z Fold 2 packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports fast charging, wireless charging, and Wireless PowerShare.
