Samsung has also announced its next foldable phone Galaxy Z Fold 2 at its Unpacked event. The new foldable phone comes with several improvements.

Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a full-size 6.2-inch screen at the front for using without unfolding the phone. When you unfold it, you will find a bigger 7.6 inches edge-to-edge Infinity-O Display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Both the cover display and main display has a punch-hole camera. Samsung uses Samsung Ultra-Thin Glass to protect the primary foldable display.

The phone is thinner overall and has a thinner gap between the displays. New hinge features “a sweeper” that uses elastic fibers to clean dust or debris out from the hinge. This will prevent damage to the display.

Still, the primary question is how durable the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be. The phone will be available in “mystic black” and “mystic bronze” colors. Samsung has not confirmed the pricing and specs.

This new foldable device also comes with 5G support. The phone should be powered by Snapdragon 865+ and high-end camera.
