Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has now launched a budget phone Redmi 9A in India starting at Rs. 6799. This budget phone is the successor of the Redmi 8A launched last year.

Redmi 9A features a 6.53-inch (1600 x 720 pixels) HD+ 20:9 IPS LCD Dot Drop screen and runs on MIUI 12 out of the box. It packs 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G25 processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The phone comes in 2GB RAM or 3GB RAM option. There’s 32GB expandable storage.

The phone has Aura 360 design with a grip-friendly texture. It doesn’t attract smudges or fingerprints. There’s also P2i coating to make the phone Splashproof. It measures 164.9×77.07×9.0mm and weighs 194g.

Redmi 9A has a 13 megapixels rear camera and 5 megapixels selfie camera. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and micro USB. It packs 5000mAh battery with 10w charging/

Redmi 9A will be available starting from September 4th from Amazon.in, mi.com, Mi Home, and Mi Studio.
