The Indian government has banned 118 more apps including PUBG, WeChat work, APUS Launcher, Baidu, and Livik. You can check the complete list below.

The recommendation to ban these apps was made based on several factors. The complaints alleged stealing and surreptitiously transmitting users’ data in an unauthorized manner to servers which possibly had locations outside India.

“Government blocks 118 mobile apps which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, Defence of India, Security of State and Public Order,” the ministry said in a statement.

These apps have been banned after the government got a request to block from Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre. Several Indian citizens were also demanding a complete ban on Chinese apps.

This is the second time when the Indian government has banned Chinese apps. This began in June when the government banned 59 apps including TikTok, UC Browser and WeChat
