Along with Mi Watch Revolve, Xiaomi also launched Mi Smart Band 5 in India. This latest fitness band features a 1.1-inch AMOLED color display that is 20% bigger than the display of predecessor. The display also has customized band faces. The display shows time, steps, heart rate, notifications, and activities.

Xiaomi has finally included 24-hour sleep monitoring that includes quick naps, REM deep sleep, irregular and sporadic sleep patterns, and rapid eye movement monitoring. Xiaomi claims that sleep monitoring accuracy has been improved by 40%. It also has 11 sports modes including outdoor running, walking, cycling, indoor running, swimming, exercise, indoor cycling, elliptical machine, skipping rope, yoga, and rowing machine. The band can also monitor heart rate.

It comes with Tri-axis Accelerometer + Tri-axis Gyro, Capacitive Wear Monitoring Sensor, Pressure assessment, and Breathing training. You can also control the phone’s camera using the band via the Remote shutter control feature.

Xiaomi has also included women’s health tracking such as menstrual cycle prediction function paired with a vibration alert.

Mi Smart Band 5 promises up to 14 days of battery life in typical mode and 20 days in long battery mode.

It is priced at Rs. 2499 and will be available from Amazon.in, Mi.com starting from October 1.
