Huawei has launched a budget Android tablet Huawei MatePad T8 in the Indian market. It starts at Rs. 9999 and will be available in both Wi-Fi only and LTE variants.

Huawei MatePad T8 features an 8-inch HD+ display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. The tablet packs an Octa-Core MediaTek MT8768 processor with IMG GE8320 650 GPU. It has 2GB Ram and 32GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 512GB.

It runs on EMUI 10.0.1 based on Android 10 but doesn’t come with Google Play Services. It has HUAWEI Mobile Services for app downloads and updates.

MatePad T8 features a 5 megapixels rear camera and 2 megapixels selfie camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac 2.4GHz and 5GHz, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS, and micro USB. There’s also an LTE variant.

It packs a 5000 mAh battery. Huawei promises 12 hours of local video playback and 12 hours of web browsing.

The base variant with only WiFi is priced at Rs. 9999. The LTE version costs Rs. 10999. It will be available from Flipkart starting today September 14th.
