GoPro has launched its next flagship action camera GoPro Hero 9 Black. It comes with a new design and also adds a front-facing color display. GoPro Hero 9 Black is priced in India at Rs. 49,500 and will be available in October.

GoPro Hero 9 Black comes with a 23.6-megapixel sensor and packs GP1 processor that was also used in previous model. This camera can capture 20 megapixels photos and can record up to 5K 30fps videos. The company has also added a front facing color display that will be helpful to bloggers.

The rear display is also bigger. It is now a 2.27-inch touchscreen as compared to a 1.95-inch display on predecessor.

The camera packs a larger battery. GoPro claims that Hero 9 Black will offer up to 30 percent improvement in battery life that Hero 8 Black. There’s a USB Type-C port for charging.

The new HyperSmooth 3.0 promises improved stabilisation. It also comes with a new TimeWarp 3.0 mode that slows down your hyperlapse videos to real-time speed with audio.

GoPro Hero 9 is waterproof up to 10 meters. Due to the larger display and larger battery, it is also slightly larger than the predecessor.
