Microsoft has finally confirmed the launch of its dual-screen phone Surface Duo. The company has already started taking preorder starting today and shipping starts on September 10. It is priced at $1399.
The phone features a 5.6 inch (1800×1350) display at the front that is used when the phone folded. The unfolded phone reveals an 8.1-inch display. The phone packs Snapdragon 855 with 6GB RAM. It will be available on 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.0 Storage options.

This phone runs on Android 10 with a customized interface that promises improved productivity. Microsoft has reworked its Office and OneDrive Android apps for dual screen. Thord-party apps can also take advantage of dual screen interface for improving user interface.
Microsoft is using an 11-megapixel f/2.0 camera that includes low light, HDR multi-frame captures, and a “super zoom” mode. The camera record 4K and 1080p videos at 30fps and 60fps.
It supports LTE but there’s no 5G support at all. There are two batteries offering overall 3577mAh of capacity. Microsoft is promising “all day battery life”. The Duo comes with an 18W power adapter in the box.
