Samsung has also unveiled Galaxy Watch 3 along with Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20Ultra at the same online event. Galaxy Watch 3 comes in two different dial sizes and in LTE and non-LTE variants.
There are two dial sizes: 41 mm and 45 mm with 1.2-inch and 1.4-inch Super AMOLED display respectively. The display also has Corning Gorilla Glass DX protection. There’s a rotating bezel and the watch is made of stainless steel 316L material. It is also 5ATM + IP68 water-resistant and MIL-STD 810G certified for durability.
It is powered by Dual-core Exynos 9110 processor and packs 1GB RAM with 8GB storage. It runs on Tizen Based Wearable OS 5.5.
Connectivity options in Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, NFC, and GPS/Glonass/Beidou/Galileo. There will also be an LTE variant. The watch is compatible with devices running on Android 5.0 and above or iOS 9.0 and above.
The 41mm variant packs a 247mAh battery and the 45mm variant packs a 340mAh battery. Both models support WPC-based wireless charging.
The 41mm and 45mm non-LTE models are pried at $399.99 and $429.99 respectively. The LTE models cost $449.99 and $479.99 for 41mm and 45mm models. It will be available starting from tomorrow August 6 in select markets.
