Samsung has also launched its latest flagship tablet Galaxy Tab S7+ and Galaxy Tab S7 in its online unpacked event. These tablets will compete against Apple iPad Pro and Microsoft Surface Pro 7.
Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7 Plus will be available starting $649.99 and $849.99, respectively.
The most noticeable difference between these tablets is the screen size. The Galaxy Tab S7 has an 11-inch display size and S7 Plus has a 12.4-inch display. Another difference is that the Plus model has an OLED panel while the S7 has an LCD panel. Both tablets have a 120Hz refresh rate.
S7 Plus also features an in-screen fingerprint scanner while the S7 has a fingerprint sensor built into its power button. Both the tablets come with quad speakers with Dolby Atmos. They also support Samsung’s DeX to use these tablets as a laptop. Samsung has also designed a new book cover keyboard that has a built-in trackpad.
S7 and S7 Plus pack octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC with up too 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 1TB using microSD.’
Galaxy Tab S7 comes with a dual rear camera with 13 megapixels primary and 5 megapixels secondary ultra-wide-angle camera. It also has an 8 megapixels selfie camera. Galaxy Tab S7+ has the same rear camera setup but 8 megapixels selfie camera.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C. Tab 7+ will also have an optional 5G model while Tab S7 tablet will be available in the optional 4G model.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ packs a 10,090mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. Galaxy Tab S7 packs a 7,040mAh battery.
