Last year, Asus launched Zenfone 6 (or Asus 6Z) with rotating camera setup. The rotating module had a dual camera setup that could act as a rear or front camera as per need. If we believe in leaked photos, this time Asus could add another camera module to offer a triple rotating camera setup.

As per reports, there will be two smartphones ASUS Zenfone 7 and the ASUS Zenfone 7 Pro. The launch event is scheduled for August 26, 2020.

The triple camera setup could feature a high resolution primary camera, ultra-wide camera and a macro camera. There’s also a LED flash on the camera module. This time we are also expecting 8K video recording in the Zenfone 7 Pro model.

If I talk about specifications, ASUS Zenfone 7 could come with Snapdragon 865 processor, AMOLED HDR10+ display, Android 10, and 5000 mAh battery. The Zenfone 7 Pro model could bring Snapdragon 865+, larger battery, and slightly better camera.

The phone was also listed on a European retailer confirming 8/128GB, Snapdragon 865 on Zenfone 7 and 8/256GB, Snapdragon 865+ Soc on Zenfone 7 pro.

We still have a few days in the launch. So, I am expecting a few more leaks confirming the design and specifications of the phone ahead of launch. Stay tuned for more updates. Don’t forget to download our Tech News app to get all tech updates on your phone.
