Asus has now officially confirmed that the new Zenfone 7 is coming on August 26. The phone is set to be unveiled in its home market, Taiwan. There will be a live stream video on YouTube announcing the launch secured at 2 pm local time, or 11.30 am in India.
Qualcomm has already confirmed that the Zenfone 7 will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. There’s also a rumored ZenFone 7 Pro model with Snapdragon 865+ SoC. We have also seen a Geekbench listing suggesting the 16GB RAM in the high-end variant.
The phone was spotted on NCC certification and the listing confirmed a 6.7-inch display. Other expected specs are 512GB storage, 30W fast charging, and Wi-Fi 6.
There is no clarity when the phone will be launched in other regions outside of the home market. But we know that the phone will come to India soon.
