Airtel joins hands with Nodwin Gaming to take Esports in India to the next level

Bharti Airtel has announced its partnership with NODWIN Gaming, South Asia’s leading esports company, to take Esports in India to the next level. Both companies have kicked off Airtel India Esports Tour.

The Airtel India Esports Tour will cover several gaming titles like PUBG Mobile, CS: GO, Clash of Clans, FIFA, etc. It will also coverall Nodwin tournaments such as the India Premiership by Nodwin, DreamHack India, The Northeast Cup, KO Fight Nights, and PAN Fest.

It will have a national ranking and awarding system for players based on their performance across top tournaments. This rank will be used as a base to create a points table for all participants. There will be a final leaderboard across games to recognize and reward the winners.

The broadcast will also be streamed on Airtel’s digital platforms to bring ESports to more people.

India has a large youth population that is interesting in gaming. As per reports India;s online gaming market will become bigger than USD one billion with over 620 million gamers. PC games were already popular in India but mobile games have boosted gaming in India exponentially.
