Google has finally officially launched new Pixel Buds. It can be purchased $179 from Google Store. Currently, it is only available in the US.

Pixel Buds come with hybrid design and looks really beautiful. The spatial vent underneath reduces the plugged-ear feeling. It comes in three colors including Almost Black, Quite Mint, and Oh So Orange. Buds are sweat and water-resistant.

It comes with long-range Bluetooth connectivity and a sports low-profile look. The long-range Bluetooth connectivity is impressive. It will stay connected three rooms away and outdoors. These buds feature Adaptive Sound that dynamically adjusts the volume if you move from a quiet environment to a noisy one.

Pixel Buds truly wireless earbuds

Pixel Buds also feature dual microphones that surpass background noise. The voice accelerometer detects speech through the vibrations of one’s jawbone.

It has a round touch surface with a small Google’s G logo engraved. The surface gives you space for touch controls. Here are the touch actions:

  • Tap to play/pause media, answer calls.
  • Double tap to skip track, end/reject call, stop the Assistant.
  • Triple tap to rewind/go to the previous track.
  • Swipe forward to increase the volume.
  • Swipe backward to decrease volume.

The built-in battery provides 5 hours of listening time on a single charge and up to 24 hours with the wireless charging case.
