Along with Nokia 8.3 5G, HMD Global also announced a lower mid-range phone Nokia 5.3 at the same launch event.

The phone features a 6.55-inch HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass. It comes with Android 10 out of the box and offers pure Android experience.

The phone has a Nordic-inspired design that includes a tough polymer 3D frame and scratch-resistant coating. The sculpted back is made f advanced composite materials and inner nano texture. There’s also a dedicated Google Assistant button. The fingerprint sensor is located on the back panel.

Nokia 5.3 packs octa-core Snapdragon 665 processor with Adreno 610 GPU. It comes in 4GB and 6GB RAM options and both variants include 64GB of storage. Storage is also expandable up to 512GB.

The phone has Quad-camera that includes 143 megapixels primary sensor, 5 megapixels wide-angle sensor, 2 megapixels depth sensor and 2 megapixels macro sensor. There’s also an 8 megapixels selfie shooter.

Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It packs 4000mAh battery with 10W charging.

Nokia 5.3 starts at 189 Euros and will be available by the end of April.
