Nokia 8.3 5G with 6.81-inch PureDisplay, 64MP quad cameras with ZEISS Optics announced

HMD Global has just announced its latest -range 5G Android One smartphone Nokia 8.3 5G at an online event. This phone is the successor to Nokia 8.1 launched back in 2018.

Nokia 8.3 5G features a 6.81-inch FHD+ punch-hole PureDisplay. The punch-hole is at the top left corner for the selfie camera. The phone comes in Polar Night color and weighs 220 grams. Volume rockers and power buttons are at the right edge. The fingerprint sensor is also embedded in the power button.

The phone runs on Android 10 with Pure Android experience. It packs Octa-Core Snapdragon 765G 7nm processor with Adreno 620 GPU. There are two variants including 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. Storage is also expandable.

Nokia 8.3 5G features 64MP Quad camera that includes 64 megapixels primary camera with ZEISS Optics, 12 megapixels ultra-wide-angle camera, 2 megapixels macro camera and 2-megapixel depth camera. It also has a 24 megapixels selfie camera.

It features ZEISS Cinema capture and editor. There’s also OZO audio

Connectivity options include 5G SA/ NSA / Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and USB Type-C. The phone also packs a 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

The base variant of Nokia 8.3 5G with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage costs 599 Euros. The 8GB RAM with a 128GB storage version costs 649 Euros. It will be available later this summer.
